Training
Operating since 1990, we are a 5-star PADI School and BSAC Training Centre, offering dives and courses for beginners to experienced divers of all levels. Welcoming divers from all organisations, we also invite non-divers along on all of our dive trips, maintaining Scandidive's reputation as 'the friendly dive centre'. Our directors and staff form a highly experienced team sharing PADI, BSAC and ITDA Instructor qualifications. Combined with years of diving experience in Cyprus, and a recently modernised Dive Centre, we're able to bring you a professional and exciting diving experience.
In April 2008 Clive Hemming and Scandidive training centre took part and completed the NAS (nautical archaeology society) maritime awareness certificate training. (The only centre in the paralimni, protaras, ayia napa area to be awarded this) We completed the theory part at the fullbright centre in the UN controlled buffer zone in Nicosia. this was done so centres on both sides of the divide could attend and take part in this course. with our dives taking place at the sheep dip (so called because years past the locals took their sheep their to wash) in Xylofaguou. (northen cypriot dive centres had their own sites to have their dives) Scandidive are dedicated to providing quality and consistency in their approach to training and service delivery of scuba diving instruction, and are committed to ensuring every student leaves us as a safe and competent diver, having gained full knowledge, skills and understanding from all their scuba diving lessons.
